The purpose of the YP Take Over is to empower young professionals to be engaged community, economic, and social development through a policy lens. The goal is to Increase engagement of young professionals groups in Shelby County policy initiatives led by Mayor Lee Harris and supported by MYPC. The event is a mini-summit that consist of a morning networking hour, opening summit plenary, lighting talks on innovation, development, civic engagement, and other topics that add to the future vision of Memphis.
