ABOUT THIS EVENT
This virtual workshop series addresses critical issues that businesses are facing at this time, including best practices for remobilization (re-opening and bringing your business back to scale) during and post-COVID. Industry experts will cover different aspects of business operations such as access to capital; financial preparation for crisis; marketing in the midst of an economic crisis, health crisis and civil unrest; closing supply chain gaps (sourcing hard to find items); HR/staff support and self-care.
All workshops are free and open to the public but space is limited; priority registration is given to business located in the Medical District boundaries and Buy Local Marketplace members.

If your business located in the Medical District boundaries:
MMDC will cover the cost of 30min-1 hour of personal (virtual) consulting with industry expert facilitators, when available.
In addition, your business can receive a $50 Business Support Learning Grant per session attended. You must attend a minimum of 3 sessions to be eligible to receive a grant. It is recommended that these grants be used for business support, including but not limited to additional one-on-one time coaching/consulting with the expert of your choosing.
*You must attend the workshop and complete the post-workshop survey to receive these benefits.
If you are a registered member of the Buy Local Marketplace:
MMDC will cover the cost of 30min-1 hour of personal (virtual) consulting with industry expert facilitators, when available.
In addition, Buy Local businesses in the following industries (Construction/Trades; IT; Custodial Supplies and Services; Human Resources/Learning and Development; Advertising/Marketing; Media; Promotional; Courier; Medical Supplies) can receive a $50 Business Support Learning Grant per session attended. You must attend a minimum of 3 sessions to be eligible and can receive a grant for a maximum of 4 sessions. It is recommended that these grants be used for business support, including but not limited to additional one-on-one time coaching/consulting with the expert of your choosing.
*Buy Local Marketplace grant funds are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All workshops are free and open to the public but space is limited; priority registration is given to business located in the Medical District boundaries and Buy Local Marketplace members.
Please note: Each workshop features a guest facilitator sponsored by MMDC. Each event also has maximum attendance capacity to encourage engagement and interaction among attendees. If you sign up for a workshop, and then cannot attend, please kindly let us know by canceling 48 hours in advance so that we can give this opportunity to someone else.
