About Katrice D.P. Feild

Attorney Katrice Feild, is a Member of Turner Feild, PLLC, Memphis, TN, practicing in the areas of economic development, business and government, real estate, estate planning, probate law, personal injury and bankruptcy. She currently serves as General Counsel for numerous nonprofits, namely Memphis Arts Engine, ArtUp, Perfecting Gifts, Freedom Awaits, Angel Street, Memphis Equity Through Arts and Perfecting Love In Action. Attorney Feild also serves as PILOT and C-PACER Counsel for the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) and as Real Estate Counsel for the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District in Alabama. In these roles, Attorney Feild drafts, reviews and negotiates numerous legal documents, memoranda of opinion and advises these organizations on various legal issues.

During law school, Attorney Feild was the Peer Tutoring Chair of the Student Bar Association, Student Ambassador for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Law, and Captain of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition Team. Prior to law school, Attorney Feild worked as an intern with Shapiro and Kirsch, LLP and volunteered with the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office, both in Memphis, Tennessee.

Attorney Feild is an active member of the Memphis Bar Association and Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association. Her most notable honor is being published in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Gender, Race and Justice Law Journal with her note entitled, Which Way Does the Scale Tip? Utility of University Hate Speech Codes: Protection and Promotion of Religious Free Exercise Rights of Students. Attorney Feild also devotes her time as an admissions interviewer and GOLD Class Agent for Vanderbilt University, a pro bono clinic volunteer for Memphis Area Legal Services and is a member of the Character and Fitness Committee for the TN Board of Law Examiners. Having devoted numerous hours of pro bono legal services to Memphians, Attorney Feild was a recipient of the 2018 W.J. Michael Cody Pro Bono Award and has been listed on the Tennessee Bar Association’s Pro Bono Honor Roll.

Attorney Feild is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Florida A&M University College of Law. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonathan, and daughter, Karmin. Attorney Feild also enjoys singing, dancing, playing the piano, volleyball and watching movies.
