Meet the Panelists
Lameka Ivy is a Memphis native and founder of Ivy Mediation and Consulting, LLC. Lameka launched Ivy Mediation in January 2016 with the goal of helping organizations with limited human resources (HR) access. Ivy Mediation and Consulting, LLC assists companies with creating working environments that support its ability to achieve desired business results. Lameka enjoys building long-term relationships and taking time to understand the clients’ business, employment culture, and the strategic vision for the organization. Lameka’s knowledge is focused on facilitation, consultation, and resolution strategies with workplace issues. Her areas of expertise include labor and employee relations, equal employment team building. Prior to becoming a consultant, Lameka held HR positions with two Fortune 500 companies: the United States Postal Service (USPS) and Nike with a combined total of over 500,000 employees. During her tenure at each, Lameka championed HR strategies at the government and corporate level which resulted in practical cost-effective HR processes that improved business results and relationships. Lameka holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in Organizational Management from Bethel College. Lameka is a Rule 31 Listed Mediator and Trainer with the Administrative Office of Courts, a certified Strengths Coach through Gallup, and an authorized partner of Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors. She also has certifications as a small business enterprise (SBE), minority business enterprise (MBE), 8a certified, locally owned small business (LOSB), and woman-owned small business (WOSB).
Dr. Darrell Ray is the Chief Equity Strategist of Systematic Equity Solutions, LLC (SES). (SES) provides support to government and non-government entities to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in processes, policies, and procedures from an equity-centered perspective. SES offers custom-designed solutions, strategic planning, diversity education, and tailored trainings to ensure organizations meet the needs of their diverse workforce. Organizations seeking to create more just and equitable work environments, shift organizational culture, increase productivity, and reduce liability will benefit from the core services. Dr. Ray holds a PhD in Education and has over 25 years of administrative experience.
