Tell us a little but about yourself and your business?
“I am Mike Arnold. On April 20th of next year will mark 41 years of my business. I do what I love and I love what I do!”
Have you always been in the District?
“No, I just moved here January 15th, 2018.”
Have you enjoyed you time here in the District?
“I have! I have met a lot of people from all over the world. The area attracts many tourists from all different places- more tourists than anything.”
Can you tell us about the specials that you offer?
“I run daily specials. I have a half a pound hamburger with fries and a drink for $8.99. I run the ribs at a half a slab with baked beans, cole slaw and french fries for $16.99. I also have homecooked meals- 1 meat, 3 vegetables, bread, and sweet tea for $12.99.”
What would you consider your signature on the menu?
“Everything! Because I put my heart in everything that I do!”
Do you have a most popular menu item?
“That’s kind of a toss between the barbeque ribs and the catfish.”

Is there anything that you want to share with the Memphis Community about your restaurant? Do you have any upcoming promotions, events, or partnerships?
“I plan on doing a grand opening event soon, and I will have some super-duper deals!
Do you have any weekly performances?
“I do! I have a band, Classic Soul with a Twist, that performs the first Saturday of every month. They perform from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock. I am talking to another band to see if I can get them on board to perform once a month, or every other week on Fridays.”
Is there anything else you would like the community to know about Arnold’s BBQ?
“I would like the community to know that I am here and to come and enjoy all of this love that I am putting into this food! They don’t know what they’re missing out on!”
